The aim of marketing is to recognize and fulfill customer needs. It involves activities and choices focused on delivering goods and services to consumers, ensuring that the goals of the business, consumers, and society are met.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Equivalent NQF Level 4 occupational qualification; or an
APS score of 24, using double the English the four (4) next best subjects of NSC.

COURSE DURATION

6 months per level full-time (3 semesters to complete up to N6 level)
18 months practical experience

Enrolment in January and July

PERSONALITY TRAITS

Marketing managers should be good communicators, think clearly and persuasive. They need to be good listeners, be able to understand other people’s point of view without losing sight of original objective. Numeracy is a fundamental requirement as they use figures to analyze sales and market research data in planning and pricing. It also an advantage to be creative, enthusiastic, pay attention to detail and have sound judgement in order to initiate and carry out specific projects.
